331 cities with at least one Tim Hortons.
Tim Hortons began in Hamilton in 1964, and Ontario has stayed the centre of the chain ever since. The 1,911 restaurants here are spread over 331 cities, from the dense clusters in Toronto, North York and Scarborough down to single-store towns along Highway 11 and the north shore of Lake Superior.
The pattern follows the highways. The 401 between Windsor and the Quebec border, the 400 north to Barrie and the QEW around the lake all carry restaurants at regular intervals, which is why 1,262 of the Ontario locations have a drive-thru. In the older parts of Toronto and Ottawa the format flips — small counter-service stores with no drive-thru at all, built into the ground floor of whatever was already there.
The order that built the chain is still the cheapest thing on the board: a brewed coffee at $1.83, or a coffee and a donut for a little over three dollars. A dozen donuts is $14.49, an Original Iced Capp $3.99, and a Farmer's Wrap with a hashbrown built in is $5.29.
Breakfast runs all day at most Ontario restaurants, with the lunch menu added at around 10:30 AM rather than replacing it. A total of 319 locations never close, which in practice means the highway stores and the ones near hospitals and university campuses. Mobile ordering through the app lets you skip the queue at busier downtown locations, where the morning rush is genuinely long.
For groups, catering runs from a $18.49 baked goods bundle up to a 105-cup Cambro of coffee at $160.00. Lead times are set by the individual restaurant rather than nationally, so the store taking the order is the one to ask. The catering calculator works out platters and boxes from a guest count.
There are 1,911 Tim Hortons restaurants in Ontario, spread across 331 cities — the largest number in any province.
Toronto has the most by a clear margin, followed by Mississauga, North York, Scarborough, Brampton and London. Every city with at least one restaurant is listed on this page.
319 of the 1,911 run around the clock. The rest keep normal trading hours, and each restaurant on this page shows its own full week — no two are assumed to match. Holiday hours are covered on the hours page.
Delivery is handled by third-party services rather than by Tim Hortons itself, so coverage depends on the individual restaurant and the app you order through. The delivery page explains how each service charges, which is the part that actually differs.
1,262 of 1,911. Drive-thru hours often run later than the counter, so a restaurant showing as closed on this page may still be serving at the window.
